Marshfield Clinic Health System: NATIONAL CANCER INSTITUTE FUNDS WISCONSIN CLINICAL TRIAL NETWORK

WiNCORP is a partnership between Gundersen Health System, Marshfield Clinic Health System and ThedaCare that provides innovative cancer clinical trials to patients in Wisconsin. This partnership builds upon the collaborative relationship these three health systems have to improve access to cancer clinical trials for more patients.

This will be the second time WiNCORP has received this award from the National Cancer Institute. During the first 5-year period, about 150 active cancer clinical trials were available at any given time.

“We have participated in hundreds of clinical trials that have made a huge difference to our patients since we received the initial award and are excited that we get to continue to provide our patients with this state-of-the-art cancer care,” said Dr. Adedayo Onitilo, medical director for Cancer Care and Research at Marshfield Clinic Health System and principal investigator for WiNCORP.
